At the Aris Elijah Pugal Foundation (AEPF), we believe that every act of generosity creates a ripple effect—and nothing illustrates this better than seeing one of our past scholarship recipients give back to the next generation.
It brings us great joy to share that one of our former scholars, now a practicing lawyer, is presenting three scholarships to future lawyers of the National Asian Pacific Islander Prosecutors Association (NAPIPA) on behalf of AEPF. This proud moment highlights the power of education, mentorship, and the lasting impact of support given at the right time.
Back in 2021, AEPF sponsored a scholarship for Weston Caindec, then a 3L student at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. With hard work, dedication, and faith, Weston graduated, passed the bar, and began his career as a prosecutor with the City Attorney’s Office. Today, he is coming full circle—presenting three new scholarships at the upcoming NAPIPA Banquet on September 13th.
This moment captures the true spirit of what AEPF stands for: empowering individuals not only to achieve their dreams but also to uplift others along the way. It’s a beautiful reminder that our contributions—no matter how small they may seem—can create meaningful change in countless lives.
We extend our deepest gratitude to NAPIPA for partnering with us and to all those who continue to believe in our mission. Together, we are helping future leaders rise, one scholarship at a time.
